Position Summary: This role is more than just a HOST; it is an opportunity to be a part of a team that brings people together through food and culture. As a key part of the guest experience, you will help guide guests through a thoughtful dining journey, delivering genuine service and creating a positive, memorable experience. The HOST will be the first point of contact for our guest setting the tone for a warm and welcoming atmosphere and commitment to exceptional hospitality. Job Responsibilities: * Warmly greet the guest in a timely, friendly and professional manner. Thank guest on their way out to complete the guest experience * Work closely with servers and management to coordinate seating, maintaining optimal dining room flow and accommodate special requests * Provide guests with detailed information about the menu and offer recommendations based on guest performances * Set ambiance (music, lights and cleanliness) of the dining room for an enjoyable and memorable guest performance * Keep the Front-of-House (FOH) area organized, clean and inventing * Address and resolve guest customers promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary * Assist with updating reservation log, resetting tables and other administrative tasks as needed * Maintain up to date knowledge of current promotions, events and specials to effectively communicate with guests Qualifications: * 6 + months prior experience as host preferred * Excellent verbal communication and positive interpersonal skills required * Strong customer service skills * Strong multitasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment * Ability to acquire a Food Handlers license, Sexual Harassment certification, RBS (alcohol) certification (before or within 2 + weeks of hiring) A few reasons why you'll love your job: * Opportunity to be a part of a growing and passionate company and team * Unique opportunity to bridge cultures through food * Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision * Family meals included Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO): Alisio`s provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics and other protected classes.
