Pepper’s Seafood Co is a fun, new, and exciting restaurant in Ogunquit Me. . We are seeking Host / Runner/ Busser candidates who have a passion for hospitality, enjoy the service industry and love food and beverage.
We source many of our ingredients from local purveyors and use only the highest quality available. Our ideal candidates will have previous experience, possess a fun and personable attitude, want a flexible schedule, are punctual and have reliable transportation.
The Host/ Runner/ Bussers must be able to provide service to the guests to the set specifications and standards while maintaining composure, poise and hygienic practices.
S/he also arranges, prepares and break downs the stations, storage areas and refrigerators. And makes sure all are maintained at the beginning and end of every day/night.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Prior experience in a fast paced environment, while providing great service
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
    Pay: $13.90 - $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Taking customer orders
  • Taking /bagging take out orders
  • Set up dining/bar area
  • Have knowledge of the menu (food and beverages)
  • Wine knowledge
  • Beer knowledge
  • Notify management in advance of likely shortages
  • Serve menu items compliant with established standards
  • Use food preparation tools in accordance with manufactures instructions
  • Close theFOH areas at the end of shifts
  • Maintain a prepared and sanitary work area at all times
  • Keep the work area fresh all through the shift
  • Make sure all storage areas are tidy and all products are stored appropriately
  • Constantly use safe and hygienic food handling practices
  • Returns dirty food preparation utensils to the appropriate areas
  • Assist with all duties as assigned
