WE LOVE OUR WORK. Provide guest services for guests of the restaurant. Receive cash or credit card from customers in payment for goods or services. Computes bill on P.O.S. System or adding machine, makes change, and issues receipt. May be required to know value of menu items. May give cash refunds or credit memorandums as directed by Supervisor/Manager. Greets and seats patrons. Coordinates and controls the flow of the Restaurant. Assigns stations to servers and bus persons. Supervises the restaurant during the absence of the Restaurant Supervisor/Manager. Interacts between Service Staff and Patrons when difficult situations arise. Ensures that Service Quality and Standards are followed. Answer telephone in a professional manner. BRING US YOUR BEST. High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Previous cash handling experience is preferred. Must have excellent guest service skills. Able to operate a point of sale (POS) System and/or adding machine and make change. Must have basic math skills. Adequate mathematical skills and the ability to understand and utilize a POS system/count money and provide change. Able to work varied shifts and hours. Responsibilities

The host/cashier is responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing the restaurant flow, and processing payments via the POS system. They also supervise the restaurant in the manager's absence and ensure service quality standards are met.
