Description Position Summary: To greet guests upon arrival and bid them “goodbye” when they are leaving; to answer the phone cheerfully and always speak in a professional manner; to enter reservations correctly and accurately in Open Table; to assist the entire staff in maintaining a clean restaurant environment; to walk guests to their table striving to create a welcoming and warm environment. Compensation: $16.90 / Hour + Tips Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Clear and friendly communication skills Greets customers at the door when arriving and thanks guests when leaving Assigns guests to tables Provides menus to guests and cleans them afterwards Takes reservations Answers phones Provides guests with pertinent information about hours, directions, specials, special events, menu items Cleans restrooms Clean tables, and other various parts of the restaurant daily Put together takeout orders Cash handling Interact in courteous and professional manner with Guests, management and co-workers Current CA Food Handler’s Card High volume and sometimes stressful position Complete opening and closing duties as assigned Other requirements: basic math skills, physical requirements could include standing, bending, lifting (up to 25 lbs) or reaching, excellent communication skills.
