JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Host at Din Tai Fung UK, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring that their dining experience starts with a warm welcome and exceptional service. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Welcome and seat guests, setting a friendly tone and guiding them through our menu.
  • Coordinate bookings and walk-ins through our CRM system, arranging seating and supporting special requests alongside our team.
  • Assist with guest payments and respond to inquiries while upholding our health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
  • Help maintain an organised venue, ensuring it’s set up for smooth service with light lifting and rearranging as needed.

WHO YOU ARE

We’re looking for a Host who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll be the face of our restaurant, ensuring every guest feels welcome and valued. Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience in a front-of-house, host or receptionist role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
  • A friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences.
  • The ability to stay calm, composed, and adaptable under pressure, while maintaining efficient service and ensuring smooth operations in a busy and high-energy setting.
  • A keen interest in building a career in hospitality, with a strong passion for learning and developing your skills.
  • Flexible availability to work full time, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, with shifts that may run as late 11:30PM.
