Position: Host (Full-time or Part-time available)
Reports to: Restaurant Director
Elisa is an elegant and modern steakhouse breaks the old-school mold and highlights a vibrant see-and-be-seen destination restaurant. Anchored by an open show kitchen and a Grillworks Infierno as the centre piece, the menu features premium cuts of beef, sustainable seafood, and seasonal produce — all locally sourced.

JOB SUMMARY:

Our Hosts have a genuine passion for hospitality and are an integral part of our restaurant; being an ambassador to our standards and culture. By consistently providing a warm welcome and great service, the Host provides a first and last impression to our guests.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience working in a guest facing role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Professional presentation
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Well organized with the ability to plan ahead and deal with high volume
  • Proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast pace environment
  • Work well within a team environment
  • Ability to be on your feet for long periods of timeFlexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

(Other duties may be assigned as required)

  • Greet and seat guests
  • Monitor a waiting list
  • Manage a floor chart with available tables
  • Communicate with guests who are waiting
  • Answer the phone and fill to-go orders
  • Anticipates customers needs, providing direct assistance where possible
  • Support service staff where needed
