POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a poised, personable, and service-oriented Host(ess) to join our front-of-house team. As the first point of contact for our guests, the Host(ess) plays a critical role in creating a welcoming and seamless experience from arrival to departure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, a polished appearance, and a commitment to upholding the high service standards of Lardo.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fine dining or boutique restaurant setting
Proficiency with OpenTable or similar reservation management systems
Strong communication and customer service skills
Professional appearance and demeanour required
Ability to remain composed under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Friendly, gracious, and guest-focused attitude
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Manage reservations and seating using OpenTable, ensuring optimal table flow and guest satisfaction

Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house team regarding seating times and table status

Provide guests with sincere and attentive service, upholding the hospitality standards of the restaurant
