The Host/Expo shall perform all duties in a friendly and professional manner, and ensure that each guest has an enjoyable dining experience.  Job Responsibilities: * Promptly greet customers with a welcoming and courteous manner and arrange for quick and efficient service from serving staff * Provide a pleasant atmosphere for customers to dine in by reducing the amount of walk-through traffic using various strategies, such as line control and name lists * Offering menus and water to guests * Ensure meals are complete and deliver to guests table * Clear and reset tables, and take dishes to the kitchen * Maintain communication with outlet team members to ensure overall dining success * Monitor and stock supplies at bussing and Maitre’D stations * Help with end of day duties such as polishing cutlery, rollups and general cleaning * Ensure quality of product and services offered at all times * Complete other tasks as assigned  Job Requirements/Qualifications: * Highly organized and detail-oriented * Self-motivated, can work well in a team as well as independently * Physically strong as this position requires heavy lifting and standing for long periods * Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills are mandatory * Ability to smile and have fun while accomplishing all required tasks is essential * Previous experience in food and beverage an asset; general knowledge and experience within the service and hospitality industry an asset * Some positions require skiing/snowboarding ability and equipment  * Knowledge and adherence of ALGC and Foodsafe legislation * A Police Background Check from your home country or province will be required upon commencement of employment  Work Schedule: 5 days on / 2 days off - Business level dependent   Dress Code: Employee to provide their own: black dress pants, black non-slip shoes, black socks as per Appearance Policy. Uniform shirt to be purchased from LLSA.
