JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expediter to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Expediter plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared accurately and delivered promptly to our guests. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of hospitality, and the ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining high standards of customer service.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for effective interaction with staff and customers.
  • A background in hospitality or guest services is a plus, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are key attributes for success in this role.
    We are also looking for a Host or Hostess (Must be 18 years old or older and have a valid Smart Serve)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and Seating Guests: Welcoming customers as they enter the restaurant and guiding them to their designated tables.
  • Managing Reservations: Taking and confirming reservations, either in person or over the phone, and maintaining a seating chart.
  • Providing Accurate Wait Times: Estimating wait times for parties and communicating them to guests.
  • Assisting with Customer Service: Answering guest questions, providing menus, and ensuring they have a pleasant experience.
  • Maintaining Table Flow: Monitoring the restaurant’s seating capacity and ensuring tables are efficiently turned over.
  • Basic Support for Other Staff: May assist with busing tables, setting tables, or taking drink orders.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Being able to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Organizational Skills: Maintaining reservation logs and seating charts accurately.
  • Customer Service Skills: Dealing with guests in a polite and helpful way, even during busy periods.
