Job Description: Host & Floor-tender
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individual to join our team at Nine Lives, If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy creating a memorable experience for our guests, then this role is perfect for you. As a Host & Floortender, you will play a vital part in ensuring our customers have an exceptional time while enjoying our delicious cocktails, Tacos and lively atmosphere.

Tues/Weds: 17:00-00:00
Thurs/Fri: 16:00-00:00
Sat: 12:00-00:00
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by warmly welcoming guests and offering detailed knowledge about our cocktails and food to make recommendations and enhance our customers’ experience.
- Main expectations will be to remain present and host at the entrance. Managing bookings via our booking system and liaising with guests as and where appropriate via email.
- When necessary, we may require help on the floor, serving tables, taking orders & managing sections to aid and maintain a high standard of service alongside the FOH floor team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience hosting in Bars, restaurant or cocktail bar waiting tables.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse customers and colleagues effortlessly.
- Demonstrated knowledge and passion for mixology including familiarity with various spirits, cocktails.
- Strong multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and remain calm under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- High level of professionalism and integrity, exemplifying a positive attitude and a genuine desire to exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per business needs.
- Excellent time management skills, with a proactive approach to learning and self-improvement.
