Description The Farmer's Daughter Restaurant at Normandy Farm Hotel & Conference are seeking qualified individuals who are interested in working in an upscale hospitality environment. An exemplary work ethic, meticulous attention to detail and a passion for providing superior customer service are necessary for all applicants. Applicants with experience working for first-class hospitality organizations will be strongly considered. Host: Attends and Participates in all training sessions and team meetings. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate manner. Greeting guests with a warm smile to make them feel welcome. Seats guests and provides menus, following the appropriate rotation. Answers the phone politely and assists callers, including answering questions about the establishment and making reservations. Manages and confirms all Open Table reservations. Cater to the guests’ requests and needs in a prompt and professional manner to ensure an overall superior level of customer service. Performs all assigned side work and keeps host stand and lobby area clean. Follow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conduct. Notifies and reports any problems or concerns to management. Reports to the Restaurant Manager Food Runner: Attends and Participates in all training sessions and team meetings. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate manner. Greeting guests with a warm smile to make them feel welcome. Deliver food orders to customers quickly and accurately. Uphold sanitation and food safety principles. Check in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactory. Relay reports on customer satisfaction with the management and relevant parties Ensure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food. Assist in setting up buffets before service with appropriate utensils, napkins, and decorations. Cater to the guests’ requests and needs in a prompt and professional manner to ensure an overall superior level of customer service. Perform all assigned side work and keep kitchen server station clean. Assembles room service orders with Chefs guidance and delivers room service orders to quest rooms. Requirements Must be at least 16 years old. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Previous hosting experience is a plus. Possess a basic knowledge of excellent service standards, guest relations, food, and beverage preparations as well as etiquette. Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies, and rules Available to work weekends, day and evening shifts and major holidays (Thanksgiving, Easter, & Mother's Day) Regular and predictable attendance. Always arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance. Must have reliable transportation. Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
Responsibilities
