JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service by efficiently delivering food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with hospitality standards and practices is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette when interacting with guests or taking reservations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Experience in restaurant settings is an advantage but not mandatory.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately to guests at their tables.
  • Assist servers in ensuring that all orders are correct and meet quality standards before serving.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests.
  • Provide excellent guest services by responding to inquiries and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive dining atmosphere.
  • Utilize POS systems, such as Micros POS, for order tracking and communication with the kitchen.
