Position Details Employment Type: Part-Time Shift: Flexible (Days, Evenings, Weekends) Department: Food & Beverage / Restaurant What You’ll Do Greet guests and provide a warm, professional first impression Manage reservations and seating using a rotation system Escort guests to tables and present menus Monitor dining room flow and seating availability Answer phones and accurately take reservations Communicate wait times and accommodate special seating requests when possible Coordinate with kitchen and service staff on large parties or special requests Assist servers and bussers as needed during peak times Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entry area Observe service standards and escalate guest concerns when needed Requirements What We’re Looking For Previous host, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred, but not required Strong communication and guest service skills Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment Comfortable managing multiple tasks at once Basic computer skills (reservation systems, Microsoft Office a plus) Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent movement throughout the dining area Ability to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally Work Environment Indoor and occasional outdoor restaurant setting Moderate to loud noise levels during peak service High-volume, guest-focused environment About Lake Lawn Resort Located on Delavan Lake, Lake Lawn Resort offers elevated dining experiences alongside exceptional hospitality.
