Day Host/Hostess – Baton Rouge Kanata Location: Kanata, Ontario Hours: Day shifts, primarily 10 AM – 4 PM, with some flexibility up to 8 PM About Us Baton Rouge Kanata has just completed a full renovation and is ready to welcome guests with a fresh look and top-tier hospitality. We’re looking for a friendly and organized Day Host/Hostess to help open the restaurant each morning and set the tone for excellent service throughout the day. Responsibilities Prepare and organize the host stand and entrance area before opening Greet guests with warmth and professionalism as the first point of contact Manage reservations, walk-ins, and seating rotation using our system Answer phones and assist with inquiries Maintain a clean, welcoming entrance throughout the shift Support front-of-house setup (menus, table checks, small prep tasks) before service begins Assist the team during peak hours as needed Requirements Positive attitude and strong communication skills Comfortable working daytime shifts, including some weekends Organized and reliable with attention to detail Neat appearance and punctuality Previous restaurant or customer service experience is an asset, but not required Why Join Us?
