JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage reservations efficiently. The Host/Host will play a crucial role in creating a positive dining experience for our guests.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred
  • Familiarity with food service operations is a plus
  • Experience in a restaurant environment is highly desirable
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele
  • Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous
  • A background in hotel experience can be beneficial but is not required

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables
  • Manage reservations and waitlists effectively using our POS system, including Micros POS
  • Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions
  • Maintain an organized and clean front-of-house area
  • Assist with seating arrangements and ensure timely service for all guests
  • Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience
