Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest service in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests as they arrive and seat them in a timely manner
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
- Provide guests with menus and inform them of daily specials
- Assist servers with delivering food and beverages to tables
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand area
- Answer phone calls and take reservations
- Collaborate with the kitchen and servers to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in guest services, food service, or hospitality preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle various guest requests
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
