Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive dining experience. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
- Manage waitlist during peak hours
- Answer phone calls and take reservations
- Communicate special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station
- Collaborate with servers and other restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations
- Familiarity with Resy is a plus
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food service etiquette and guest relations
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
