• Greet every guest with a genuine and enthusiastic welcome, setting a positive tone for their visit.
• Manage the waitlist and seating chart efficiently, using a POS or reservation system to minimize wait times and maximize dining room capacity.
• Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and inform them of any current features or specials.
• Answer phone calls professionally, handling inquiries, taking reservations, and providing information about the restaurant.
• Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of service and exceptional teamwork.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting entrance and waiting area.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
