THE HOXTON, CHARLOTTENBURG (BERLIN) - HOST/HOSTESS (M/F/D)

The Hoxton take on Europe! We’re popping up in some of our favourite cities and we’ve opened our first hotel in Germany in the city of culture and creativity, Berlin. We are now looking for a Host/Hostess to join our team in the Restaurant.
Our first Hoxton in Germany is home to 234 bedrooms of varying sizes, a ground floor restaurant and bar, coffee bar and streetside terrace and The Apartment – our unique meetings and events concept. Our restaurant is the meeting of a North Indian communal eatery and a classic European cuisine. It brings together the characteristics of these two traditional restaurants - the tandoor ovens, Indian spices and marinades, select prime cuts of meat, and buzzing atmosphere.
Reporting to our Restaurant Manager& Bar Manager, you will be responsible for; guest relations, serving the guests and make sure they will have a great time.

  Additional Information

• You’re the first face our guests see, and you have your own way of treating them as individuals, making them feel welcome and their stay special - the Hox way.
• Working closely together with the brand marketing team, spread the word internal and external, make sure the guests and the team are aware about special offerings and events.
• Making every guest experience individual and assure personal attention to make our guest loyal to the Hoxton Charlottenburg.
• Manage the reservation system; Sevenrooms, register reservations and monitor and reply to all guest feedback over the used channels.
• Share the received & reviewed guest feedback with the team.
• Manage group bookings for the Outlets, send out the offers and communicate the reservations, and special wishes within the team and hotel for a smooth operation.
• Deal with the coming and going of guests, making sure all bills are correct and contain no surprises.
• Work with all our teams to make sure we’re always busy and help our Restaurant and Events team with any individual and group bookings.
• Answer phones, sort out requests, give recommendations - you’re the one-stop-shop for our guests to turn to.
• Support our Waiters and Waitresses team by jumping into service duties during rush hours and/or any time they would need.
