JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in the restaurant industry. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest flow efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience.
• Familiarity with food service operations and restaurant etiquette.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience with POS systems is a plus; familiarity with Micros POS is highly desirable.

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart.
• Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials.
• Assist with guest inquiries and ensure their needs are met throughout their dining experience.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, including taking reservations and answering questions about the menu or restaurant policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.
• Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, for order entry and management.
