You will greet and seat guests, manage reservations and waitlists, and respond to questions about the restaurant. Your primary objective is to support a smooth service and ensure guests enjoy their experience from arrival through departure. The incumbent is responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with Ojo Caliente Holdings, Inc. (OCHI) Core Values; Accountability, Authenticity, Diversity, Excellence, Gratitude, Happiness, Integrity, Mindfulness, Respect and Teamwork Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and warmly as they arrive. Answer guest questions about the restaurant, menu offerings, and current specials or promotions. Escort guests to their table and provide menus in an organized and timely manner. Manage reservations and walk-in seating, both in person and over the phone. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby/host stand area. Monitor the waitlist and table availability to optimize seating and flow of service. Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to support timely and accurate service. Respond professionally to guest concerns or complaints, escalating as appropriate. Thank guests upon departure and extend a courteous invitation to return. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized lobby/host area. 5. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. 6. Ability to stand for extended periods, sit, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, and push/pull/lift items weighing up to 40 pounds. 7.
