JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Front of House Management Team, you are an integral member of the food and beverage team. As a Host/Server Assistant, your responsibility is to provide a consistent level of service and excellence to our Members/guests by delivering outstanding guest experience. You possess a positive attitude and an attentive approach to creating lasting memories for all our guests.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Passion for hospitality with a strong desire to grow, develop and enhance your skills
- Work variable shifts throughout our season (June to October) as business levels require
- Capable and eager to work within each of our Food and Beverage Outlets (Marine Dining Room, Dockside Lounge and Event Room).
- High attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a changing environment.
- Customer experience preferred, though not a requirement.
- Smart Serve certification

Responsibilities:
HOST RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and professional appearance in all dining outlets
- Meet and greet all guests in a welcoming, caring, and professional manner
- Escort guests to their table and engage them in conversation
- Answer the phone in a prompt and courteous fashion
- Assist members with reservations or inquiries.
- Work closely with management on reservations prior to and during service
- Communicate with service team and management
- Monitor table availability during service
- Maintain clean and organized workspace/restaurant
- Operation of a golf cart
- Adhere to written standards of operations, policies, manuals, and employee handbooks
- Other duties as assigned or required
SA RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean and professional appearance in all dining outlets
- Meet and greet all guests in a welcoming, caring, and professional manner
- Comprehensive knowledge of all food and beverage items being offered
- Monitor food quality and presentation standards
- Deliver food to proper table and ensure accuracy of each plate served
- High level of floor awareness and clear/clean dining spaces as required
- Work alongside your managers and team to immediately address all guests concerns, comments or complaints and resolve in a way to ensure guest satisfaction
- Communicate with service team, kitchen and management
- Assist in the preparation, set-up and maintenance of event areas
- Adhere to written standards of operations, policies, manuals, and employee handbooks
- Completion of closing and side duties as described on checklists
- Other duties as assigned or required
Physical Aspects of Position (include but not limited to):
- Stand or walk for an extended period of time
- Frequent lifting (up to 25lbs)
- Ascending or descending stairs
Job Types: Fixed term contract, Seasonal

Pay: $16.55-$17.20 per hour
