JOB SUMMARY

Tabule is looking for a warm and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently. As a Host, you will set the tone for a positive dining experience by greeting guests, coordinating seating, and assisting with takeout orders as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, professional appearance, and a welcoming personality.
  • Experience with reservation systems, particularly Open Table, is an asset.
  • Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Toast, is considered an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and bid them farewell with a positive attitude as they leave, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere throughout their visit.
  • Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists efficiently while communicating wait times accurately.
  • Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
  • Assist with takeout operations, including taking orders, processing payments, and providing orders to guests.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Tabule’s menus, promotions, and services, providing accurate information and recommendations to guests.
  • Assist in coordinating takeout orders and ensuring a seamless experience for customers picking up food.
  • Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
  • Assist in answering phone calls, addressing inquiries, and taking reservations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall guest experience.
