JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to warmly greet guests, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of service in our restaurant. A passion for customer service and hospitality is essential to create memorable experiences for our guests.
This is a seasonal position ending on or about October 2025.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
• Familiarity with guest services in a hotel or restaurant setting is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and staff.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience with POS systems is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely service.
• Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, restaurant policies, and special events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Utilize POS systems, such as Agilysys POS, for managing reservations and guest information.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance guest relations and overall dining experience.
