JOB SUMMARY:

As the first point of contact for our guests, the Host/Hostess plays a key role in setting the tone for the entire dining experience. We are looking for a polished, professional, and warm individual who can provide an outstanding first impression and manage the flow of the dining room with grace and efficiency.

• Previous experience in a host/hostess or customer service role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Passion for hospitality and a team-oriented attitude

• Greet all guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival
• Manage reservations and waitlists using the Open Table
• Coordinate seating arrangements to ensure efficient table turnover and exceptional service
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house and entrance area
• Provide accurate wait times and ensure guest comfort during their wait
• Communicate effectively with servers, management, and kitchen staff
• Uphold the high standards of service and hospitality that Via Allegro is known for
