Description Duties & Responsibilities: Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Warmly greet all guests upon their arrival. Open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant when possible. Inspect tables for proper presentation. When the restaurant is on a wait for tables, record the guest’s information in the NoWait App and provide the guest with an estimated wait time. Notify guests via the No Wait App when their table is ready. Accommodate special seating requests whenever possible. Make friendly conversation with guests as you walk them to their table. Upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of the server’s name. Handle food: chips and salsa Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return. Attend all scheduled team member meetings Requirements Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: The requirements below represent the required knowledge, skill, and/or ability. Responsibilities

The host/hostess is responsible for warmly greeting guests, managing the front door, inspecting table presentation, and handling waitlist information using the NoWait App. They must also seat guests, offer menus, introduce the server, handle initial food items like chips and salsa, and thank departing guests.
