Description Position Summary The Host serves as the first point of contact for members and their guests in our dining areas. This role is responsible for creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere while managing reservations, coordinating seating, and supporting smooth dining room operations. The ideal candidate is professional, personable, and attentive to detail, with a strong commitment to exceptional member service. Key Responsibilities Greet members and guests promptly and courteously upon arrival Manage dining reservations and waitlists using the club’s reservation system Coordinate seating to ensure optimal flow and member satisfaction Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff Maintain an organized host stand and entrance area Uphold club standards of etiquette, professionalism, and confidentiality Assist with special events, private functions, and member requests Address member concerns politely and escalate issues to management when needed What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Consistent scheduling in a professional environment Opportunities for growth within the club Employee meals A respectful, team-oriented workplace Requirements Qualifications & Skills Prior experience in hospitality, customer service, or fine dining preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and demeanor at all times Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Knowledge of reservation systems a plus Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally Comfortable working indoors and outdoors as needed
