Job Description Under the guidance of the Front of House Management Team, our Hosts play a key role in creating a memorable guest experience from the moment guests arrive. With professionalism and attention to detail, Hosts help ensure a smooth, efficient, and welcoming environment by managing guest flow, optimizing seating capacity, and communicating effectively with team members. What You’ll Do: Greet every guest with a warm, welcoming presence—both in person and over the phone—even during the busiest times. Communicate clearly and confidently with Servers, Bartenders, and Managers to maintain steady and efficient guest flow throughout the restaurant. Escort guests to their tables while engaging in friendly and professional conversation. Take reservations accurately and efficiently, both over the phone and in person, with attention to detail. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked front entrance, host stand, and surrounding areas—understanding that first impressions matter. Quickly become familiar with all table numbers and maintain awareness of seating arrangements and server sections. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and enhance the guest experience. Qualifications Proven prior restaurant experience Valid Smart Serve Certification Required High attention to detail Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment Organizational skills and ability to multi-task Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum Minimum 1 year experience in customer service, restaurant experience considered an asset Flexibly availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
