Description Host or Hostess Job Details Job Type Full-time, Part-time Sunset, SC Description Job Type Full-time, Part-time Sunset, SC Description Job Title: Host/Hostess Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Location: Sunset, SC Job Summary The Host/Hostess is responsible for providing a warm welcome to members and guests while upholding The Reserve at Lake Keowee’s mission, values, and service standards. This role includes managing the dining floor plan, coordinating reservations, and ensuring seamless communication between the front and back of the house. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a friendly, professional demeanor. Key Responsibilities • Greet and escort members/guests to their tables while providing menus. • Maintain an accurate seating chart and coordinate table assignments efficiently. • Inform guests of daily specials, menu changes, and answer food and beverage-related inquiries. • Take food and beverage orders when necessary and relay them through the POS system. • Process guest payments accurately and efficiently. • Answer phones after 5 PM to take reservations and to-go orders. • Assist servers by removing/replacing dishes, glassware, and silverware as needed. • Clean and reset vacated tables promptly. • Set up, execute, and break down banquet events as required. • Communicate table status updates with managers and staff. Skills & Competencies: • Strong customer service and communication skills. • Knowledge of regular members and their preferences is a plus. • Ability to maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards. • Must pass regular food and beverage testing. Physical Requirements & Work Environment • Must be able to stand and move quickly for up to 6 hours. • Ability to lift and carry trays up to 35 lbs. Requirements Requirements Qualifications & RequirementsEducation & Experience: High school diploma required. Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old.
