ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Hosts are primarily responsible for ensuring our guests are greeted and have a positive experience as soon as they walk through the door. Examples of hosts responsibilities include: * Greeting customers as soon as they walk in the door. * Guiding guests to their tables. * Taking reservations and answering the phone. * Quoting proper wait times. * Ensuring guests are seated in a manner that allows servers to properly take care of the guests needs. * Making sure the lobby stays clean and presentable. * Complete any side works prior to the end of your shift. * Any other duties deemed appropriate by your manager. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS * Good verbal communication and phone etiquette. * Must be at least 16 years of age. * Ability to stand at least 4 hours per shift. * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. * Be a team player and work well with management and servers. PREFERRED SKILLS * Prior customer service experience * Highschool Diploma or GED
