Seat guests as efficiently as possible to facilitate good customer flow and reduce crowding. Help maintain the quality standards of the facilities and the service. Complete any reasonable job-related tasks as directed by a supervisor or Manager. Requirements Requirements Welcome guest to the restaurant. Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists. Manage private dining. Escort customers to assigned dining areas. Provide menus and announce Server name. Greet customers upon their departure. Coordinate with servers about available seating options. Maintain clean all reception areas. Cater to guest who require extra attention (e.g., children, elderly, disabled). Seat guests as efficiently as possible to facilitate good customer flow and reduce crowding. Help maintain the quality standards of the facilities and the service. Complete any reasonable job-related tasks as directed by Host department Manager. Requirements and Skills: Bilingual Preferred – English / Spanish Maintain a well-manicured appearance and persona that reflects the image of the restaurant. Positive attitude and interpersonal skills. Be courteous, friendly, and have a pleasant demeanor. Able to work in a high traffic volume restaurant environment. Demonstrable customer-service skills. Excellent communication skills (via radio and in-person). Ability to be punctually and present for schedule shifts. Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining areas. Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed. Does high-quality work while unsupervised. Understanding of restaurant etiquette. Good physical condition to be able to walk and stand during an entire shift. Perform more than one task at a time. Follow Management and leadership instructions. Report to work in a complete required uniform. Frequently bend, stoop, reach, lift, carry and wipe. Obtain Texas Food Handlers Certification with 30 days of hire.
