Hosts must be able to create a pleasant atmosphere by being attentive to customers both in person and over the phone. Warm, friendly hosts must leave a bright and welcoming first impression for our guests! Must be able to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week to include at least one weekend shift. Shifts are Weekdays 4:00PM - 9:00PM Saturdays 4:00PM - 9:00PM Sundays 3:00PM - 9:00PM Host Functions: Attends and Participates in all training sessions and team meetings Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate manner. Greeting guests with a warm smile to make them feel welcome Ring out members takeout orders Seats guests and provides menus, following the appropriate rotation Answers the phone politely and assists callers, including answering questions about the establishment and making reservations Manages and confirms all Open Table reservations Cater to the guests' requests and needs in a prompt and professional manner to ensure an overall superior level of customer service Performs all assigned side work and keeps host stand and lobby area clean Follow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conduct Notifies and reports any problems or concerns to management Reports to the Restaurant Manager Requirements Must be at least 16 years old Work permit required if under the age if 18 Able to learn & perform basic of sale skills to ring members in member takeout orders Possess a basic knowledge of excellent service standards, guest relations, food and beverage preparations as well as etiquette. Available to work weekends, evening shifts and major holidays Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies and rules Regular and predictable attendance. Arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance at all time Must be authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
Hosts are responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests warmly, managing reservations via Open Table, seating guests, and handling takeout orders. They must also maintain cleanliness in the host stand and lobby area while adhering to all company policies.
