Job Description: We’re seeking a warm, energetic, and detail-oriented Host to join our team at Zinc Lounge, located inside the beautiful Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach. As the first point of contact, you’ll set the tone for a seamless and elevated guest experience. Key Responsibilities: Monitor the lounge floor and maintain awareness of table availability to manage seating flow. Provide accurate wait times and ensure guests feel welcome and attended to while they wait. Answer incoming calls, manage reservations, and coordinate seating arrangements for large parties. Familiarity with OpenTable is a plus, but not required—we’re happy to train the right candidate. Assist with pre-bussing and clearing tables after guest departure. Support your teammates—collaboration and a team-first attitude are essential. Maintain a positive demeanor and demonstrate excellent communication skills with guests and colleagues. Requirements: 6 months to 1 year of prior host or hospitality experience preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
