Description The Voicebox Host is responsible for enabling our guests to have the time of their lives. You will exemplify Voicebox’s vision, “to transform America’s understanding of the karaoke experience and help them discover the best nights of their weeks, years and lives.” This is accomplished by creating an extraordinary experience for our guests and becoming their first choice to gather and celebrate. All actions supporting these goals should be in line with our core values. You will have the courage to sing a song with a party if asked and have a good basic knowledge of current and past popular songs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES Greet guests with excitement to get each party started off right Ensure each party starts on time and that the night goes smoothly Answer questions from our guests about what Voicebox is, how it works, and anything in-between Use tools like our calendar system and POS to start and close tabs accurately Assist the team with bar upkeep and opening/closing duties Check IDs of each guest No experience required! WE train YOU! QUALIFICATION STANDARDS Weekend availability Excellent verbal and written skills A passion for hospitality and giving great service Ability to sit, stand and move for 4 hours at a time Ability to lift to 25lbs ***Must be at least 21 years old*** Requirements We focus on an inclusive culture and celebrate everyone for who they are.
