Display a good telephone voice that is well understood and conveys a pleasant, caring, and polite attitude. Distributes to guests the menu, wine list, wine by the glass list, etc. Maintain knowledge of food and beverage product pricing structure and service standards, wine service standards, menu specials, restaurant hours of operations and special events, etc. Follows the specified format for reservation taking and confirmation. Maintain knowledge of hotel accommodations for the handicapped and be able to communicate to them. Assist in the set up and breakdown of food and/or beverage displays. Adheres to all life/safety procedures. Qualifications 1 year of host or related restaurant experience preferred. Ability to lift items weighing up to 20 pounds. Developed English language skills (both written and orally) to communicate with other employees and guests. Open Table experience (preferred, not required) Walking or standing to a significant degree.
