Job Description How does your working day look like … Manage guest queries in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner Ensure knowledge of menu and all products Follow correct reporting procedures if faced with issues Practice 25hours Grooming standards including uniform dress code, cleanliness and personal hygiene Assists callers courteously and promptly, taking messages as necessary which are legible and accurate passing them on to the appropriate person without delay Has a good knowledge of the restaurant's sitting arrangements. Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards. Supplement the bushelp in clearing and resetting the tables. Perform all assigned side work. Perform other duties as requested, handle special guest requests according to 25hours guidelines. Attend required meetings and trainings Assimilate into The 25hours Family PRIDE/CARE culture through understanding, supporting and participating in all elements of PRIDE/CARE. Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards. Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Canopy by 25hours from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Work with in all pre-set budgetary limits. Comply with all 25hours Worldwide company policies. Comply with all systems and procedures as laid down by the Assistant F&B Manager, GM and 25hours Worldwide. The management reserves the right to change/extend this statement if necessary at any point of time during her/his employment. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. Qualifications Your experience and skills include: Knowledge of restaurant operations, to include appropriate staffing levels, service equipment and guest relations. Ability to read the English language to fully comprehend guest requests, memos, reservations, promotional materials, event orders and similar written materials. Ability to speak the English language sufficient to conduct small employee meetings to impart new information. Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items. Ability to move throughout a crowded room to seat guests. Ability to effectively deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner. This involves listening to the nature of the concern, demonstrating empathy with the customer and providing positive and proactive solutions. High school graduate or equivalent required. Prefer six (6) months to one year previous serving experience. Prior hospitality experience preferred Additional language ability preferred.
