City Brew Hall is hiring Hosts / Food Runners, and no restaurant experience is required. If you’re friendly, quick on your feet, and enjoy being around people, this could be the perfect job. This role is a great first step into the restaurant industry. Many of our servers and bartenders started in this exact position. What You’ll Be Doing Greeting guests with a warm, friendly welcome Checking guests in using our online reservation system and helping manage the waitlist Entering new reservations and answering basic guest questions Walking guests to their tables and providing menus Letting servers know when their tables have been seated Delivering food from the kitchen to the correct tables Clearing and resetting tables to keep the dining room running smoothly Doing light cleaning and organization, including keeping the host stand and entryways clean and welcoming Jumping in to help the team during busy times What We’re Looking For Friendly, outgoing personality Professional, polished appearance Comfortable using a computer or tablet to manage reservations Quick on your feet and able to stay organized Able to be on your feet and go up and down stairs Reliable and punctual Calm and positive in busy, fast-paced situations Why It’s a Great Job Fun team environment Flexible schedules Great first job or part-time job Learn hospitality and customer service skills Opportunity to grow into server or bartender roles If you enjoy staying active, working with great people, and helping create a great experience for guests, we’d love to meet you.
