All fresh, oven-fired pies with a wide selection of beers, wines, and spirits. All of our food is fresh and made in our own kitchen, right down to homemade dough, cheeses, and toppings. Guests will enjoy what we like to call “Hearth-Fired Happiness.” The Host is one of the most important members of our team, as you are the first and last point of contact for our guests! For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure. The ideal candidate is someone who is a hard worker, a self-starter, maintains a strong work ethic, and possesses the intangibles we are looking for - helpful, kind, fun to be around, and guest-obsessed. The Host is the first and last impression of the restaurant. We work hard, we’re there for one another, and we take care of our guests. Pay is based on experience: $12-$13.50 per hour Shifts Currently Needed: Monday - Friday PM Shift - 4:00 pm -10:00 pm Weekends AM 11:00 - 4:00 PM & PM Shifts - 4:00 pm -10:00 pm Weekend Availability is a Must! Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Follow the Steps of Service and Host with Mostess Guidelines. Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact Be able to carry on natural conversation with Guests without sounding scripted or intrusive. Thank the guests when leaving and invite them to come back to see us soon. Understand and operate the wait systems and inform Guests of their wait time. Monitor the waiting list, alert guests when tables are ready, then show them to their table Use visual cues to seat guests in either the bar or dining area, depending on their preference, and escort them to the assigned dining area; present menus; announce server/bartender name. Inform the guest of current specials/promotions and who will be serving = smooth handoff Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service. May also need to fill to-go orders when needed. Tend to special guest needs and requests Care for our guests by refilling beverages and performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning glasses and menus, and ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and orderly. Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol awareness policies Help dining room staff by setting and clearing tables; replenishing beverages when requested. Assist with guiding guests to go pick up areas. Perform side duties and daily and weekly cleaning tasks as directed by management Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently = dress code followed Promptly address customer service issues and refer to management when necessary
