Join our Team! The Hot Tub Services Technician is a specialized role responsible for the care, maintenance, and quality control of hot tubs across Whistler Platinum’s luxury portfolio. This position plays a critical role in the guest experience by ensuring all hot tubs are clean, safe, fully operational, and always maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with Property Services, Maintenance, and Guest Services teams. What will I be doing? Perform scheduled hot tub servicing, including water testing, chemical balancing, draining, refilling, and cleaning. Inspect hot tubs for mechanical issues, leaks, and wear, escalating repairs as required. Complete minor repairs and troubleshooting (filters, jets, lids, sensors, error codes). Ensure all hot tubs meet health, safety, and company standards prior to guest arrivals. Respond promptly to hot tub-related service requests and urgent issues. Accurately document all service activity and work orders in internal systems (e.g., Breezeway). Maintain inventory of chemicals, filters, and related supplies. Safely transport and handle chemicals in accordance with WHMIS guidelines. Communicate clearly with Operations, Maintenance, and Guest Services teams regarding service status or concerns. Support seasonal maintenance, winterization, and start-up processes. Always Uphold Whistler Platinum’s luxury presentation standards. Our Ideal Candidate 1–3 years of experience in hot tub, pool, or spa maintenance preferred. Strong understanding of water chemistry and safe chemical handling. Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot common hot tub issues. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Comfortable working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions. Strong time management and ability to work independently. Confident using digital tools and mobile work-order systems. Valid driver’s license required.
