SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum Diploma in Hospitality/Hotel Management, Business, or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year management experience in hospitality, preferably in a hotel or motel environment.
  • The candidate should possess excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and use of reservation systems.
  • Thorough understanding of compliance relevant to the hospitality sector.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work on-site and manage varied hours.

Responsibilities
  • Organise and control day-to-day hotel or motel operations, including front desk, reservations, housekeeping, and food & beverage.
  • Supervise staff: hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Oversee guest accommodation, meals, bar, functions, and other guest services.
  • Manage budgets, ensure cost control, and optimise profitability.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of guest services, striving for maximum satisfaction.
  • Plan and supervise security, property maintenance, and compliance with safety and health regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with liquor and gaming laws (where applicable).
  • Maintain records, prepare operational and financial reports, and liaise with owners/Board.
  • Provide local tourism information to guests and organise tours/transport as required.
