JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper / Hotel receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping within a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
  • Basic cooking skills are advantageous for assisting in kitchen duties.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently without supervision.
  • Good organisational skills and the capacity to manage time effectively to meet cleaning schedules.
  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming attitude.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for interacting with diverse guests.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent guest services in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of hotel management systems is a plus but not mandatory.
  • A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential traits for success in this role.

  • Assist with kitchen duties as needed, including cooking simple meals or preparing snacks for guests.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report when stock is low.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
