JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable breakfast experience for our guests. You will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness in the dining area, and provide excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.

EXPERIENCE

Ideal candidates will possess a variety of skills that enhance their ability to perform effectively in this role:

  • Previous kitchen experience or culinary training is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling safety practices is essential.
  • Experience in food service or hospitality environments such as restaurants or hotels is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service are crucial for success in this position.
  • Experience with cash handling, cashiering, or using POS systems will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet with fresh food items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Prepare and serve breakfast items, including cooking eggs, pancakes, and other menu offerings as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, counters, and equipment, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Assist guests with their breakfast needs, providing prompt service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all health regulations.
  • Perform bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery of food items.
  • Provide exceptional guest services by creating a friendly atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
