Why Join Us? • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance – available Day One • 401(k) with company match • Same Day Pay • Paid Time Off (vacation, personal, holidays) • Hotel, food, and beverage discounts • Online training  • Employee Assistance Program Key Responsibilities: • Oversee daily maintenance operations for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces • Perform and supervise preventive maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and mechanical systems • Respond to emergency maintenance issues (power, plumbing, HVAC) to minimize guest impact • Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and local building codes • Conduct safety inspections and maintain compliance documentation • Manage energy usage and implement efficiency initiatives • Maintain maintenance budgets and coordinate vendor services • Work closely with housekeeping, front desk, and food & beverage teams • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and expense records • Support renovations, capital projects, and equipment upgrades Qualifications: • Hotel maintenance or facilities engineering experience • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems • Ability to troubleshoot and repair building systems efficiently • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed Preferred: • Chief Engineer or supervisory maintenance experience • Marriott brand experience • HVAC, Electrical, or OSHA certifications • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and vendor management Why Commonwealth Hotels?
