We are looking for someone who will oversee and deliver an exceptional customer experience and standard of service for all elements of the Hotel operation by acting as the Hotel Duty Manager and actively maximising the full revenue potential of the areas. To provide leadership and guidance to all team members, ensuring the team are trained and motivated to perform and that we are operating in a clean and safe environment.

WORK AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous management experience in a similar sized property.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Awareness of fire, health & safety, and security procedures.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Proven ability handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • An ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Great organisational & communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the daily operation of the hotel and conference facilities.
  • Day to day management of the hotel and staff.
  • Assisting in all departments as and when necessary and supporting the Department Manager.
  • Ensuring high levels of service are consistently delivered.
  • Handling any guest issues and queries quickly in a discreet and professional manner.
  • Handling and reporting any staff issues.
  • Displaying extremely high standards of respect towards colleagues always creating a positive and enjoyable work environment.
  • Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed.
  • To be experienced in all areas of the business and able to assist in any departments, ensuring smooth service.
  • To train, coach and counsel employees when required.
  • To set a positive example to the team in both presentation and grooming.
  • To offer suggestions for the improvement of the service and facilities.
  • To promote and sell the hotel positively to any prospective guests, functions, groups, etc.
