Our portfolio includes a wide array of reputable brands like Marriott, Hilton, IHG and Hyatt as well as many unique, independent, boutique and lifestyle properties and restaurants.   JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Managing budgets and financial plans and controlling expenditure Oversees hotel operations under the direction of the General Manager Ensures overall guest satisfaction to drive brand metrics Work closely with other departments and understand the granular functions  Ensures compliance with brand standards Maintaining statistical and financial records Setting and achieving sales and profit targets Recruiting, training, and monitoring staff Planning work schedules for individuals and teams Meeting and greeting customers Dealing with customer complaints and comments Addressing problems and troubleshooting Ensuring events and conferences run smoothly Supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations, and furnishings Dealing with contractors and suppliers Ensuring security is effective Carrying out inspections of property and services including public spaces and guest rooms  Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Minimum of two (2) years' experience as an Assistant General Manager Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or Business preferred.   KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Demonstrated ability to lead a team Excellent attention to detail Financial savvy in hotel accounting Proficient in Microsoft Office OPERA PMS Sertifi  Marriott Global Source Systems and related programs.  Nights, weekends, and holidays are a must Ability to lift, push, pull 50lbs on occasion.    *The hiring process may consist of a phone interview, manager(s) interview, drug screen, background check, reference checks, and potential employment assessment.
