Achieve Hospitality are currently seeking a talented and experienced Head of Events to lead the Events and Event Sales teams at this prestigious venue.
This luxury resort in Fife, Scotland is renowned for delivering world-class guest experiences across hospitality, leisure, and events. Set in a stunning coastal location, the property features over 200 rooms, two championship golf courses, a premium spa and wellness centre, and a diverse range of dining options including award-winning restaurants.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

In this senior role, you will take full ownership of the planning, coordination, and successful execution of all events, from high-end corporate functions and large-scale conferences to exclusive private celebrations. You’ll be the driving force behind a seamless client journey from enquiry through to delivery and post-event follow-up.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • A commercially minded leader who is passionate about events and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong operational background, ideally in luxury or 5 environments
  • Proven experience managing high-profile or large-scale events.
  • Previous experience in a senior events role, ideally within luxury hospitality
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Track record of successfully managing large and complex events
  • Ability to drive revenue and a culture of upselling within the team
  • Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management abilities
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK
Responsibilities

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the end-to-end planning and delivery of all meetings, events, and functions
  • Manage event enquiries, contracting, planning timelines, and execution
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing events and sales team
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with operations, F&B, and senior management to ensure smooth coordination
  • Monitor event budgets, billing, reporting, and performance targets
  • Ensure brand standards and exceptional service are maintained at all touchpoints
  • Drive revenue through strategic planning, space optimisation, and upselling
  • Lead key internal meetings including BEO briefings, forecasting, and handovers
