JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping within a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
  • Basic cooking skills are advantageous for assisting in kitchen duties.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently without supervision.
  • Good organisational skills and the capacity to manage time effectively to meet cleaning schedules.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
  • Ensure all areas are kept clean, tidy, and well-organised at all times.
  • Handle laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Assist with kitchen duties as needed, including cooking simple meals or preparing snacks for guests.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report when stock is low.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
