Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supervise, instruct, plan and assign work to building cleaning team members. Inspect vacated rooms, corridors, service rooms or halls, stairs, public lavatories, lobbies, lounges and vending areas for cleanliness/order. Oversee safe use of cleaning equipment and supplies. Receive any complaints and report to appropriate individuals for necessary action or adjustment. Perform related and/or other duties as required. Participate in periodic heavy cleaning tasks and routine housekeeping duties, as required. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: · High school graduation or GED equivalent. · Thorough knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning materials and equipment. · Ability to supervise and work with employees for whom English is a secondary language. · Ability and willingness to respond to emergency situations. · Tact and resourcefulness in dealing with the public. · Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform duties and responsibilities of this job, including heavy work. · Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance. · Honesty and Integrity WORKING CONDITIONS: This position typically works shifts, including but not limited to early starts, as well as weekend and holidays.
Responsibilities
The Housekeeping Supervisor leads, trains, and supervises Room Attendants and Housepersons to ensure a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities include supervising cleaning staff, inspecting areas for cleanliness, and addressing complaints.
