THE POSITION
The Accommodation Supervisor plays a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and team morale within the housekeeping department. This position supports the Accommodation Manager in daily operations and assumes responsibility in their absence.
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented leader with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to excellence.
Must have flexibility to work varied shift hours, full time availability and the right to work in Ireland.
Ensure all guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Works closely with the front office department to ensure correct room status is communicated.
Report maintenance issues promptly to the relevant departments.
Respond to guest requests professionally and efficiently.
Conduct daily pre-shift briefings and support ongoing staff training.
Ensure that the office in general, linen room, floor storage rooms and trolleys are neat and orderly and are consistent in containing those necessary items essential to the performance of their jobs.
Perform room inspections and ensure maintenance issues are logged.
Monitor completion of checklists by linen porters, public area attendants and housekeeping staff
Support other areas as needed.
Keep the team informed of daily events, group functions and guest activities.
Oversee lost property procedures and ensure compliance with key operational policies, including room and key security, and health and safety standards.
Conduct inventories and maintain adequate stock levels of supplies and equipment.
