We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Linen Porter to join our housekeeping team. As a Linen Porter, you will be responsible for the efficient handling, distribution, and organisation of clean and soiled linens throughout the premises. Your role ensures that housekeeping operations run smoothly, supporting the cleanliness and comfort of our facilities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or linen-related role (preferred)
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift and carry loads
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
  Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
  Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour
  Expected hours: No less than 10 per week

• Collect, sort, and distribute clean linen, towels, and uniforms to designated areas or departments
• Remove soiled or used linen and transport it to the laundry area or linen chute
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the linen room and storage areas
• Track linen usage and inventory levels; report shortages or damages
• Respond promptly to linen requests from housekeeping or other departments
• Ensure that all linen is stored properly and securely
• Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
• Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the supervisor
